- This 115,000-word monograph deals with a broad range of legal issues raised by the delivery of legal services across international borders and its treatment under various international legal instruments, including WTO treaties and free trade agreements. It explores issues associated with legal professional privilege and the emergence of new legal technologies as disrupters to the sectors. The practice rights of foreign lawyers in a number of jurisdictions are considered. The project builds upon the author’s work as a member of the Law Society’s International Committee and was partially written during a sabbatical at the law school of UC Berkeley.
