- The paper describes the application of a novel intelligent biologically inspired automated approach to scheduling problems. The algorithm has been embedded within industrial practical implementations. Including as an option within the SME EventMAP's timetabling software. The option is used by 20 plus educational institutions worldwide where longer term planning is key to timetable creation e.g. balancing student numbers, student experiences, availability of space and flexibility for staff. The algorithm is used by C4 to schedule all of its adverts across their 24 owned channels.
