- Smith - My contribution to this study started in the US and was completed in Southampton, with regards to the direct single neurone oxygen flux measurements. The final studies were done using the instrumentation and software designed and provided by myself, working in close collaboration with others at Imperial and Yale. I oversaw that component of the work and contributed to the interpretation of the results extracted via the self-referencing method.
