- I am a long-standing member of T2K from its early days and this is a culmination of close to ten years of data-taking. My work and those of my students and postdocs have influenced numerous aspects of this paper, from the design of the experiment, software and hardware contributions and physics analysis.
This result, which appeared on the cover of Nature, is the first where sensitivity to CP violation (matter-antimatter differences) has been shown in neutrinos.
