- Utility systems must satisfy process energy and power demands under varying conditions. Uncertainties such as increasing process steam power demands might lead to the production loss due to the utility deficits. The significance of this work is to classify the uncertainties and presented the compensation measures to reduce the losses due to uncertainty. The case study was based on real processes. The research was used to develop future online operational optimization of utility systems.
