- Narrative generation has become a new application for AI Planning, which has featured regularly at conferences such as AAMAS, IJCAI and AAAI. However, its bottleneck is the definition of alternative planning operators supporting the generation of multiple solutions, in a principled fashion. This paper presents a formal mechanism for the automatic definition of alternative PDDL operators based on a transition model of pre and post-conditions, also leveraging linguistic resources to ensure human-readability of the machine-generated operators. The acceptance rate for full papers at AAMAS 2015 was 24% for the paper’s track.
