- Following the 21st Conference on Climate, Perysinaki examined the evolution of national regulations regarding sustainability to put into perspective their content and their influence on architectural practices. Emphasis was put on climate change in the transformation of urban landscapes. Focusing on the Climate Energy Plan and Biodiversity Plan of Paris, national guidelines were examined regarding the transformation of the built environment whilst considering its ability to adapt to environmental changes. She combined various approaches and scientific knowledge involving different spatial and temporal scales to question the ‘essence’ of the urban landscape, taking into account ‘material’ as well as ‘immaterial’ aspects.
