- International collaboration (TU Graz) which took a differentiator framework for which a small number of heuristic parameter settings had been established and where tuning was difficult into a constructive design approach. A toolbox was developed (www.reichhartinger.at) and the Researchgate project containing the toolbox instruction manual has over 975 reads. Spurgeon has presented several keynotes and seminars on the toolbox including at a short course funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India under the Global Initiative of Academic Networks (GIAN) and a plenary lecture at the 15th European Workshop on Advanced Control and Diagnosis, Bologna, Italy, 2019.
