- Additional information
- The result of a large-scale ERC project, this companion contains the latest scholarship on Hippocrates in an accessible format. Pormann contributed the introduction and one chapter on the ‘Arabo-Islamic tradition’. He also edited all the contributions quite heavily, and the chapter on ‘textual history’ is his English summarised translation of a much longer research article published elsewhere.
