- Published in, IEEE-TMM, the leading multimedia journal, this paper proposes the first network coding enabled named data networking(NDN) architecture for scalable video delivery. It results from an international collaboration between Essex and Bern. The proposed novel scheme is significant as it advances NDN architecture by enabling prioritized network coding and uses Bloom filters to resolve fundamental problems related to the introduction of network coding. The proposed architecture is extensively evaluated for transmission over PlanetLab topologies and we observed close to optimal video quality. This paper is towards the end of a wider series and therefore presents a well-developed, mature approach.
