- Additional information
- Partly funded by SymlConnect Limited and in collaboration with the University of Swansea, the main contribution is to propose the concept of private surveillance and demonstrate its viability. The research addresses two of the main challenges currently faced in location-based services research - context-awareness and personal privacy. Given the growing number of people with dementia worldwide and concern with ethical issues, the potential for mobile applications is significant.
