- This book is the first study of a long-established form of community justice in Jersey. It is the product of extended original research and writing-up by the two authors over a period of approximately ten years. The work is based on more than 130 interviews, documentary research, systematic observation of 51 Parish Hall Enquiries in the 12 Parishes of the Island of Jersey, and analysis of the data. It combines evaluation with critical insights into a form of legal pluralism.
