- "This demonstrated the value of computational modelling in biology as model predictions were confirmed experimentally, which changed how adhesions are studied in vascular biology (see commentary articles [1,2]). The work generated significant funding including ~£2M for satellite lab at Uppsala University and Philippides’ visiting fellowship. Developed open-source software [3] used by 20+ labs resulting in high-impact publications (e.g. Philippides: Dev Cell, Nature Comms; Others: ELife, Nature Comms [4-7]). Most downloaded paper NAVBO:2014. Invited talks at leading conferences e.g. [8]. Field-weighted citation impact 7.56 (Scopus).
