- Double-weighted statement
- This output fits at least five of the double weighting criteria in that it demonstrates sustained research effort (four years of empirical and textual research) and involved the collection and analysis of a large body of material including original interviews, ethnographic observations and analysis of a large corpus of screenwriting-related material including screenwriting manuals. This remains the only study of its kind to analyse screenwriting as cultural labour, showcasing a unique scholarly perspective that required both theoretical and methodological innovation whilst remaining accessible to a general readership. The book is now available open access (2020) which further extends its reach.
