- This paper describes a direct search for decays of the Higgs boson into invisible particles and set the worlds strongest direct limit on this decay mode. Acharya and his PhD student, Loan Truong, developed and implemented the data driven technique for estimating the W-boson plus jets background, utilising the charge asymmetry of W-boson production in proton-proton collisions. This background measurement was a core element of the entire analysis.
