- The results of this study revealed several factors that can prevent sustainability design from becoming a first-class citizen in software engineering, and have influenced how sustainability can be integrated into the ISO/IEC 29110 Basic Profile processes (https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007%2F978-3-030-01171-0_1). The paper's impact is clear from research websites (e.g. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/303296728_Sustainability_design_in_requirements_engineering_state_of_practice) and it has led to the first author gaining an EPSRC fellowship (https://gow.epsrc.ukri.org/NGBOViewGrant.aspx?GrantRef=EP/R007373/1), and further international collaboration (e.g. https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/8920518/authors#authors, https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007%2Fs00766-020-00336-y) including a 4,460,000EUR Erasmus Mundus MSc. programme with the involvement of co-authors Duboc, Betz, Penzenstadler (https://eacea.ec.europa.eu/erasmus-plus/emjmd-catalogue/projects/2020/se4gd_en).
