- This paper comprises results of a collaboration with Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, University of California (Davis), USA, CEA Cadarache (France) and the National Nuclear Laboratory (Sellafield, UK). It comprises results from both experimental and simulations research. The ADRIANA facility (EP/L025671/1) was shipped to ORNL to facilitate access to a bare sample of 252Cf, supported by a dedicated EPSRC overseas travel grant EP/P008062/1. The research was supported by EPSRC grants: EP/M02489X/1 and EP/L014041/1 (the DISTINCTIVE consortium), and a Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Award. It includes comparison with 6 different theoretical models.
