- Additional information
- The paper informs current research on water resources management planning and contributes towards sustainable water consumption / water efficiency planning by identifying water end uses where about 30% of water savings can be realised. The paper led to the award of two industry and EPSRC funded (South West Water, pmerchan@southwestwater.co.uk ; Paul Merchant) 4 year projects on catchment based water intelligence and smart water end use identification. The paper has seen international applications (e.g. Prof Clara Rosalia Alvarez-Chavez, University of Sonora, Mexico, ralvarez@guayacan.uson.mx).
