- This paper proposes a scheme by integrating error-correcting codes with the frequency diversity of communication channels to generate and refresh cryptographic keys on the physical layer of sensors. Extensive experiments on real wireless sensors were carried out to confirm the performance and security advantages of the scheme over existing work. Thus the scheme can better protect the security of wireless sensor networks.
