- Additional information
- Unprecedented assessment of stereoscopic-3D visualization effectiveness for flexible endoscopes run across 7 different technology setups (including headsets, walls, desktops). Benchmark to system designers of medical endoscopic displays. The work is a collaboration among 2 universities and 5 companies in 5 European countries and USA. After this publication, a co-author affiliation, world leader Elettronica Group (ELT, Italy, a FINMECCANICA associate), decided to sponsor 2 international PhD scholarships at the University of Hertfordshire (Ref. Corporate Chief Scientist Dr. Daniela Pistoia).
