- This collaborative original research focuses on transient modelling and dynamic analysis of hydro-turbine governing systems in the start-up process, so providing a means by which the performance of these systems can be improved in the transient process. This NNSFC 4030577 supported research, led to the capture of new Chinese Science Foundation grants NNSFC 51622906 and NNSFC 51479173 that in turn contributed to joint international outputs in the Journal of Vibration and Control in 2019 and the Energy Journal in 2020 respectively.
