- Mr and Mrs Disraeli is a monograph of approximately 112,000 words and it represents the culmination of five years of archival research. Its principal source material is the archive of Mary Anne Disraeli, a collection of over 10,000 manuscript documents held at the Bodleian Library, Oxford. It also draws on material held in different sub-sections of the archives of Benjamin Disraeli and Isaac Disraeli: collections which comprise an additional 40,000 items. This archival research was undertaken in addition to extensive secondary research on the Disraelis, their families, and their extensive network of correspondents.
