- This work was generated through an international collaboration with researchers at Northeastern University in China, funded by three research grants, e.g. 71325002 from the National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars of China. The paper presents a routing algorithm for delay tolerant networks, which rectifies the irrational assumptions and high complexities of related work. The simulations results produced demonstrate the algorithm’s performance advantages over other algorithms. The work has promoted further research in related areas, e.g. UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) networks for post-disaster operation (https://doi.org/10.1109/ACCESS.2018.2875739).
