- Paper presents findings from collaboration between a blind theatre director, robotics engineers and HCI researchers on how to stage a theatre play that is not visible, but is experienced through haptic technologies. It provides insights into how technologies can be orchestrated to create fulfilling user experiences in mixed-reality environments. Work was widely reported in the popular press, including the Guardian, the Evening Standard, New Scientist, Disability News Online and British Theatre Review (details on request). The paper has been referenced in publications on the design of virtual reality environments, and to inform the training of accessibility managers in arts galleries.
