- The new nanomechanical model of periodic beam structures analysed here was the backbone for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship award METACTIVE (799201, €195,454), which extends this model to the nonlinear and piezoelectric periodic structures and metastructures. This work led to further collaboration with Swansea University and resulted in a journal publication (DOI 10.1016/j.ymssp.2020.107218). This research paper is a part of the author’s PhD dissertation which was sponsored by a research grant from the Serbian Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, Ref ON 174001.
