- This paper was promptly cited in Annual Review of Neuroscience 2018 as providing a mechanism for building short-term memories (Raymond and Medina pp. 233-253, DOI: 10.1146/annurev-neuro-080317-061948).
This theoretical work has been undertaken in close collaboration with the experimental lab of Dr. DiGregorio at the Institut Pasteur in Paris (on a shared ANR grant from the French research council). This lab has further investigated the theoretical predictions (leading to a follow-up publication, elife 57344, 2020).
