- The paper is part of a series of publications resulting from collaboration with Jaguar-Land Rover (JLR). The research described in the paper contributed significantly to JLR’s implementation of state-of-the-art technologies in its production line. It also aided the development of internal standards for production and repair and changed practices by improving facilities and staff skills. The collaboration helped towards the creation of 1,300 jobs at JLR’s Solihull plant (part of a plan to double JLR’s operations in Coventry and Solihull).
