- The first paper to show the design of low noise 10MHz crystal oscillators with phase noise below −120 dBc/Hz at 1 Hz offset, including theory, design tools, implementations and comparison with state-of-the art. Techniques are being used in research on atomic clocks in the KAIROS Innovate project with 10 partners including York (104614, £4.45M, £57K York). The design techniques are being used in a STFC funded IAA research project to develop new oscillators for the CLARA free electron laser accelerator at the ASTeC Daresbury research laboratories (Contact: Senior Engineer, Accelerator Science, STFC)
