- Double-weighted statement
- Territory, Performance and Resilience is a multi-platform research project that was undertaken in 16 favelas in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) over six years. This complex practice-based multicomponent output explored how performance-related arts practices can produce and mobilise knowledge about processes of resilience in contexts of armed violence and involved the production of new databases, research publications and numerous creative outputs. Double weighting is requested because the critical insights generated were inter-dependent across a number of research projects. The production, collection and in-depth analyses of extensive primary source material required establishing and sustaining collaborative research partnerships in territories of extreme fragility.
