- The paper is the first to allow network operators to change network behaviours by modifying or upgrading the network policies on the fly without interrupting the network services. This concept led to award of a follow-on a stream of funding: the ”Fundamental Research Fund for the Central Universities NO. WK2150110007 and by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NO. 61772490). It underpinned two subsequent publications 10.1109/TMC.2020.3022403 and 10.1109/JIOT.2020.3021141. The source code for the paper was made available in github. https://github.com/howbani/FRCA to help PhD students and other colleagues to apply our idea in different contexts.
