- The methodology developed in this paper in collaboration with Hospital for Special Surgery, funded by the Chelmsford Medical Education and Research Trust, won a Mimics Innovation Award, was invited for publication and was a key underpinning modelling approach that helped secure an ARUK grant (#20708) to predict subject-specific surgical correction for knee realignment. This paper attracted funding from medical device company, Moximed Inc., to investigate the ability of their minimally invasive implant to reduce joint stress levels. The information has been used at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York for instructing patients pre-surgery.
