- The research was carried out in collaboration with Ohio State University and Iowa State University. It has led to new collaborations with clinicians at Alder Hey Children?s Hospital: i) developing a new creatinine micro- sampling/analysis platform for paediatric kidney-related testing (Alder Hey Children?s Kidney Fund, ?20k, email: matthew.peak@alderhey.nhs.uk), and, ii) paper-based sampling, storage and analysis platform for testing saliva samples of children suffering from adrenal insufficiency (Gabriel Trust Fund, ?50k, email: justin.wrench@alderhey.nhs.uk). Both of these projects are ongoing.
