- Double-weighted statement
- This single-authored monograph presents extensive research into Welsh cultural performance conducted over 10 years. It includes substantial research on museum interpretation (in partnership with St Fagan’s Museum of National History); collaborative museum theatre practice (with National Museum Wales), analytical research on the National Eisteddfod of Wales; research conducted as Visiting Scholar at the Smithsonian Centre for Folklife and Cultural Heritage (2008 and 2009); and research into contemporary Welsh theatre and performance. This comprehensive, sustained programme of research inquiry enables a deep mapping of core themes including ‘Museum’, ‘Heritage’, ‘Festival’, and ‘Theatre’ allowing rich analyses of cultural performance texts.
