- This paper describes a novel method based on auto-regressive algorithms for the replacement of Fourier based frequency analysis techniques in wavelength scanning interferometry and allowing the extension of the operating range through improved analysis of low-frequency fringes. This feeds into collaborative research on atomic layer deposition coating with the HVM Catapult, Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) [Contact: david.bird@uk-cpi.com] as well as expanding further commercial exploitation of a commercial wavelength scanning product by IBS Precision Engineering [Contact: Henny Spaan (CEO), Spaan@ibspe.com].
