- A novel methodology to embed nitrogen atoms into structure of integrated mesoporous TiO2@C is created. This paper provides effective and inexpensive electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction ORR and the finding indicated that the ORR activity of new catalysts exhibits higher durability and methanol tolerance, which led to industrial collaboration with CORDA.LLC/Japan and DCI/USA to develop a pilot-line. This work provided a potential avenue to explore highly electroactive nanostructured materials for efficient fuel cells, and was recognised by an invited talk at the 16th MÜSÝAD International Expo Fair and 20th International Business Forum, Turkey in 21st Oct. 2016.
