- This 90,000-word monograph comprises six substantial chapters, each of which considers in detail a specific feature of the musical culture of the Hmong people. The findings are based on extensive fieldwork carried out over three years between 2007 and 2016 in northern Vietnam, as well as newly-conducted interviews and new audiovisual recordings that are available on an accompanying website hosted by the publisher.
