- This is the first output from international collaboration in industrial benefits of software reuse. Researchers from Argentina, Brazil -who did not co-authored this publication but the follow up published in 2019- and Spain are involved. This output is significant. It provides empirical evidence of the extent to which research efforts in software reuse have been transferred to the industry. The result showed, despite the extensive history and research into software reuse, few proposals have been implemented in the industry. As a result of this publication, I have been invited to participate as a program chair in the CICCS congress (https://bit.ly/2RIeFmn).
