- Author contribution statement
- Thompson was a key member of the Herschel open time proposal team that obtained the data for this output. He helped to write sections of the proposal, gave feedback and suggested corrections to the overall proposal. He also produced simulations which developed the observing strategy for the project. Thompson contributed strongly to the final preparation of the output, reading and commenting on drafts and calculating the likely contamination of the Hi-GAL catalogue by extragalactic sources.
