- This research proposes an innovative hybrid electrode material for developing supercapacitors with high power/energy density and stability. It represents one of the outcomes of EPSRC project EP/M015211/1 and it has initiated a new collaboration between Ulster University and ARCI, India (R&D centre of Dept. of Science & Technology, Government of India). The proposed technology has strong potential to be transferred to industrial scale for pilot level high performance supercapacitor fabrication, suitable for electric vehicles. This article appeared in “European Chemical Society Publishing” under Hot Topic: Batteries and Supercapacitors.
