- This is joint work between national and international academics and industrialists. The paper introduces a new approaches for the simulation of processes preceding the onset of internal combustion (multi-component fuel droplets heating and evaporation). The work provides researchers and engineers with a highly accurate and computationally efficient numerical method to predict the aforementioned processes. The results are a result of joint projects of INTERREG IVa E3C3 (Ref. 4274) and EPSRC (Ref. EP/J006793/1), which has been further developed in recent years to lead to further significant contribution to science and technology. This work has been cited for at least 46 times.
