- The output constitutes a 95.000-word single-authored monograph, informed by desk-based research, including consultation of rare primary sources, participation in workshops, interviews with practitioners and scholars, as well as the design and delivery of a practice-based project. The research spanned a five-year period and was dedicated to the elucidation of a single theme that has not been researched before. The project required extensive engagement with discrete bodies of knowledge, including literature that was beyond the author's existing expertise, the development of a multiperspectival frame of analysis, as well as synthesis of insights and findings from different disciplines and modes of knowing.
