- This co-authored monograph is the second book of a three-volume series and the culmination of a collaborative research project with a team of four researchers: Matt Brennan, Martin Cloonan, Simon Frith, and Emma Webster. Brennan conducted most of the national industry interviews and archive research for the project, and also drafted Chapters 1, 3 and the second part of Chapter 8 (pp.174-183) of this volume. (The other co-authors drafted the rest of the book and Simon Frith was responsible for revising the drafts into the final version of the text.)
