- This paper presents an original planning algorithm for a disaster response application and validates it on the basis of real-world data. The paper was published in one of the top AI conferences and is one of the key technical outcomes from the five-year EPSRC programme grant ORCHID. It takes a highly multi-disciplinary approach to formulating an AI problem and evaluates it using a process validated by emergency responders.
