- This paper provides the most general and accurate description of the capacity region of the two-user interference channel. It establishes, for the first time, the fundamental limits for communication in fully asymmetric wireless multiuser settings and provides analytical insight into the design of coding strategies for the next generation of communication systems. This paper is the main contribution in the thesis by V. Quintero who was awarded the INSA de Lyon Thesis Award in the domain of Information and Digital Societies. https://cybernets.inria.fr/quintero-wins-the-insa-de-lyon-thesis-award-in-the-domain-of-information-and-digital-society/.
