- This paper, published in a leading secure computing journal, gives the first study on the vulnerability in the interaction between pricing and load scheduling in smart home cyber-physical systems. It shows that an attacker can manipulate the pricing information to disturb the energy scheduling and a defense framework is then developed. Based on this paper, Shiyan Hu has been invited to deliver multiple keynote speeches including IEEE ICPS 2018 (https://icps2018.net/keynotes/), IEEE ICEI 2017 (http://www.energyinter.net.cn/icei2017/program.html), and IEEE CPSCom 2016 (https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/stamp/stamp.jsp?tp=&arnumber=7917055). The technique developed in this paper is under testing at The State Grid Corporation of China (point of contact: linweimin@geiri.sgcc.com.cn)
