- The computational molecular modelling contribution to this article was conceived, designed and carried out by CAR; the modelling is a significant and essential part of the article. In particular, CAR modelled the structural elements missing from the cryo-EM GLP-1R structures, with both GLP-1 and TT-OAD2 as ligands. CAR designed and performed the extensive molecular dynamics simulations on these substantial 5 protein complexes. CAR carried out the analysis of the molecular dynamics simulations, and the comparison between the two systems, that gives the key mechanistic insights. CAR drafted the modelling aspects of the final paper.
