- Dr Bihotz Pindo is a senior research engineer at IK4 Teniker Spain and spent three months in 2014 at Bournemouth University conducting experiments as part of her PhD. EPSRC provided the test equipment to measure flash temperature to Professor Hadfield as part of the Engineering Instrument loan Pool. Some of the initial studies were presented at an international conference “Surface and Contact 2015”. Professor Hadfield was also invited to give a presentation to research staff at IK4 Teniker in 2015. The paper has strong industrial collaboration with Dr Conte from Anton Poor (Switzerland) as a co-supervisor for the PhD.
