- This monograph represents eight years of research, including lifecourse interviews with women of the FINRRAGE network in 14 countries and analysis of three significant public archives comprising over 90 boxes of material, as well as private archives amassed by interviewees and a large corpus of members' published books and papers. The book uses this to reconstruct the history of the network from 1984-1997, situated against the emergence of reproductive technologies and developing legislation, making a substantial theoretical contribution through closer examination of the network's knowledge practices and developing an innovative approach to understanding expertise in activism around complex technologies.
