- This research monograph provides a large-scale, comprehensive reconstruction of character education, shedding light on what character is, and how it can be highlighted, measured and taught in current schooling. As a winner of the 2015 British-Society-for-Educational-Studies prize for the best research monograph, this work offers the fruits of a complex, extended and multi-layered process of creative investigation into a topic that has rarely before been explored from such a wide-lens interdisciplinary perspective. It offers the theoretical culmination of three years of fully-funded research on character education in the UK.
