- The ‘crowdfunding’ concept is revolutionizing the financial markets and it is starting to evolve into a viable financing alternative for startups and projects in search of capital.
Understanding this financing source in depth is key to help deciding if this is the option that fits your financing needs better. First, we define crowdfunding and analyze the different types available for entrepreneurs: reward-based, equity crowdfunding and lending. Then, we look at its evolution and the emerging legislation trying to protect small investors. Finally, we compare advantages and disadvantages to help entrepreneurs and managers pick the best one for them.
